production log week 1

This week got in to groups and chose which idea will would do for our music video and I am working with Rashaan and Zahir.

My group and I have a clear idea on what we are going to have in our music video the people and the order which I think is good because it’s better then what we had before. if the people we have chosen are not able to film we can still ask some other people to help us with the roles that need to be done. Now we know our story line and how every things going to plan like the locations we know what scene needs to be in that specific location. 



But now we have got a brief idea on our whole music video the only problem at this point can be if people drop out but we can just get other people to fit the roles. We also planned out what we want to happen in our video. So far we have been in class. next week we will be planning our shooting script

Are there any areas of the presentation you would like to give any more detail on?


I don't think there are any areas that I would add more detail because I know that  I went into lots of detail for each sections of my presentation pitch and I also added examples of ideas of music videos that I want my music video to look like. in my music video I would have illustrating and Amplifying for example when you hear my artist saying I am a natural you would see him playing basketball naturally. I would  have the  performance in Southbank where the skate park is with the graffiti and the music video would cut to the beat after each scene.


What did your audience identify as areas for improvement as the strengths of your music video
My audience were asking me very good questions about my music video for example,  why I chose the song also why  I would use the conventions in my video. My audience thought my idea was good they thought that I used good conventions and my locations for my music video was really good and simple for example they that Southbank and park is a good place to have my performance of my music video because I will get big audience to watch my artist performing. They also said my idea is simple to make because it is not to complexed.



What did your audience identify as areas for improvement ?
I didn't get any bad feedback from my audience for my music video idea.

 
What changes will you make to your music video concept based on the feedback you received?
The only thing that I would change for my music video is the puffer jacket.

Analysing the lyrics of the song 
The song means that the artist thinks he is natural and he dose is natural and he also thinks that everybody around is natural. In the song when he says Rahul is natural and 

Michael is natural he is referring to his brother Rahul and Michael.


Target audience
This song is aimed at teenagers aged 13 to 19 I think that because of the beat of the song.
The gender for the song is both  male and female i think that because of the lyrics of the song.
the interests is music and reggae music genre. 
the location is London because the artistes lives in London and the target audience is teens in London.


analysing the music
The music has good beat and the song is good, i also think it is a good song to lip sync to and it a wonderful  up beat paced effect when you listen to the song.

The tempo of the song is 60 beats per minute (BPM) this shows the genre of music is reggae because most reggae songs are 60 Beats Per Minute so the speed of the song isn't going to very fast or very slow it's roughly going to be medium speed. The Beat pattern of this song is 9 beats on a bar. Also the length of the song is 3:13 seconds long.
how you would visually communicate this in a video
I will amplify and illustrate my music video and I chose this techniques because I really feel like I can experiment and reach the highest level I can possibly aim for where as the other technique I might find it a bit more hard . I will visually communicate with this music video by embracing the music from the music video.
